What a referring physician receives back when a patient joins.
I grew up in a family of physicians, and I recall how frustrating and disjointed the referral process sounded from their side.
How the concierge team follows up after an assessment.
I'm not sure what happens between your office and ours when there's a referral but I do know what happens when they get here.
How we translate lab results into daily action for referred patients.
Most physicians assume a wellness provider looking at lab work is a problem waiting to happen. Fair assumption. Here's how it actually works when you refer to us.
Exercise prescription deserves the same rigour as a medication dose
No physician would write "take some blood pressure medication, a few times a week."
The Data Isn't the Deliverable
A patient walks out of your office with a beautiful panel. Advanced lipids, inflammatory markers, a full metabolic workup, maybe a CGM report with

Most patients have been told to reduce their stress. Very few have been taught how.

The Gap Between a Lab Result and a Changed Habit.
A patient gets an A1c of 6.1 and a clear explanation of what it means.
She understands it. She's worried about it. She fully intends to change.

My career started in college as a part-time trainer working at our campus rec center, helping friends work out by showing them what we did for our strength and conditioning for soccer. I never imagined I would build a life around this over the span of decades. Canvas Rebel : Heather Sholl
Outside of cIient love and satisfaction, I am most proud of the collaboration we have among our team onsite and offsite. Our clients, our partners and our staff trust one another and that is huge when we’re asking to help with personal health information. Every person in our network believes that health is happiness and that we all have a responsibility to help those who want to live healthy and happy.

I hate New Year’s Resolutions but…..
Listen, the struggle is real. Between family obligations, work parties with strangers, kids home from school and readily available booze and snacks….
I hate diets, is there another way?
Yes, and the primary focus is about your wellness, not your weight - but it can work for you!
It’s the Theory of Primary Food.
What does a health coach do?
Here’s the thing. We aren’t a gym where we want people to just put in sweat equity and leave. “It takes a village” is our tagline. It’s our warrior call inside of our four walls. Because health is something we believe is accomplished in community. And that’s why I’m a health coach here. What does a health coach do?
Neighborhood Gym vs Chain Gym
As we move further into the neighborhood and out of the strip center, people looking for a “neighborhood gym” are finding us. We only moved a block, so I was surprised, considering being small can seem like a disadvantage. Is a “boutique” gym for you? Here are a few pros and cons to consider!
